Ali has experience coaching field players and goalkeepers for over 10 years in both the UK and the United States at youth, collegiate and professional levels. He is a former Manchester United goalkeeper coach and also is currently the women's goalkeeper coach at Mid America Nazarene University. He has a very important role at KC Athletics, being the Director of Goalkeeping.

Bob played collegiate football and baseball at Central Methodist University. After graduating in 1989, he started to play and coach soccer, and has now been coaching competitively for about 15 years. He originally formed an independent club with 5 teams under SC Hurricanes, and now has joined our family at KC Athletics.

Brad has over 25 years of coaching experience in the Kansas City area. He grew up playing club soccer and played at the collegiate level at Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC. After college, he immediately started coaching high school soccer and did that for 15 years before transitioning to coaching club level soccer in 2005. Brad has taken teams to the final four in USYSA Nationals and developed many players that went on to play at the college level. Brad's objective in coaching is to build players who are intrinsically motivated, character-filled competitors that pursue balance in the game and in life.

Brad grew up in the Kansas City area and attended Shawnee Mission High School. He then went on to Kansas University where he worked with the club soccer team. Brad has been heavily involved in the game in Kansas City. He was co-owner of the Missouri Comets and also co-owner of the FC Kansas City Women's team until it was sold in 2016. He founded the FC Kansas City Youth Club as well. Brad has a love for the game that is shown in his interactions with the players he coaches.

Carl has coached youth soccer for 15 years. He played high school soccer at Lincoln Prep, where he also helped start their soccer program. Carl believes in teaching solid on-ball technique while working hard to advance the player's overall soccer IQ. He is a student of the game, always watching, reading, studying, and playing.

Chris has coached High School and Club soccer in Kansas City for 9 years. His two daughters have played premier and high school soccer and he coaches for the love of the game.

Chris has been coaching soccer for 30+ years, with 25 of those years in the high school ranks. He started coaching youth soccer with Futura Southland in 2008 alongside Brad Childers, then followed to FCKC. Chris stresses technique during his training sessions and encourages players to be risk takers.

Denise grew up in St. Louis playing club and high school soccer. She went on to play at the collegiate level at Baker University and later earned her MBA from UMKC. Denise has coached premier soccer for 19 years.

Dele played premier soccer beginning at the age of 8. In high school, he was a 3 year varsity player at Shawnee Mission South. He played 2 years of collegiate soccer at Johnson County Community College and graduated from KU with a Bachelor's in Psychology. Dele has coached premier soccer for over 4 years and holds a US National D license.

Doug has coached both boys and girls in youth soccer in Kansas City since 2003. He became an assistant coach with our club working with his daughter's team and then started coaching our 2007 girls this past year. Doug is a patient teacher of the game and creates a fun environment for his players.

Duke grew up playing club soccer in Omaha, NE, helping the Olympia Hawks win two State Cup titles (1982, 1984), while also being chosen twice to the Nebraska Select team. He went on to lead Omaha Creighton Prep HS to back-to-back State championships, earning 1st Team All-State honors as a senior. After continuing his soccer career at Rockhurst University, he later helped start up Liberty United FC (LUFC) in the KC Northland. Duke then founded Freebird Soccer (2011-2015), which he would later merge with FCKC to give his players opportunities they might not have had with their small, independent club.

Eric was born and raised in Sedalia, Missouri. He currently lives is in Lee's Summit and has been coaching club soccer and high school soccer for several years. Eric coaches KC Athletics girls competing at a high school level. He does a great job building solid teams with players that love the game.

Goran grew up in Croatia, Europe. He played professional soccer for 19 years in 18 different countries. Goran has 5 years of professional coaching experience. He has been awarded many times including but not limited to All-Star, Offensive Player of the Year 5 times and MVP of the year 4 times. Goran is one of 10 players in US history to score over 1,000 points. He enjoys working with and improving youth soccer by passing on his soccer knowledge.

Goran previously played professionally in Macedonia as a highly decorated player. After moving to KC, Goran and other professional players founded KHMAC Soccer Club, which later became Futura FC. He is also the Associate Head Men's Coach at Metropolitan Community College, was previously an Assistant Coach of the FCKC Women's Professional team, and the Head Coach of the Kansas City Comets. Goran has over 15 years of youth soccer coaching experience, and uses his expertise to encourage his players to enjoy the game to the fullest.

Huw holds the position as the club’s Executive Director. He’s the former General Manager for FC Kansas City and helped build a team which won back to back NWSL Championships. Huw captured a U18 ECNL National Championship in 2011. He has developed 12 players who have gone on to represent the US on the youth and U23 National Teams, and one player who has earned a Full USWNT cap. Huw has also coached 14 players in club soccer who have gone on to play professional soccer both in the US and abroad. He was honored as a “Local Legend” by Sporting KC in 2017.

Ian played collegiate soccer at both Greenville University and UMKC. He has coaching experience at Grandview High School, and is currently coaching girls soccer at Pleasant Hill High School. Ian is one of our keeper coaches. He does a great job developing keepers that love the game and contribute to their teams.

Jackie played premier soccer beginning at the age of 9. In high school, she was a 4 year varsity player at Lee’s Summit High School and the first female Lees Summit HS soccer team to make a state appearance her senior year. She went on to play for the nationally ranked, William Jewell College and graduated college with a Bachelor's Degree. By day she works as a director in Cybersecurity as helping people is her passion.
Jackie has coached soccer for over 10 years, from 3 year olds to high schoolers. She has a daughter who plays for the club as well. Jackie believes that training kids properly at a young age helps them to be successful in their soccer career later in life. She also reminds everyone to have fun and enjoy doing what they love!

Jimmy Burke is in his 14th year of coaching. He grew up playing club soccer in Kansas City and then played at the collegiate level at Graceland University. While at Graceland, he also ran for the track team. Jimmy got into coaching his 5th year at Graceland University, where he coached the JV team. After college, he immediately started coaching high school soccer. Jimmy coached three high school teams for 5 years, then transitioned over to club soccer in 2012. Jimmy’s objective in coaching is to build self confidence on and off the field, motivating his players to be better competitors and people.

Coach Sosa played collegiate at UMKC where he was a three-time All-Summit League player for the Roos. He was a first-team selection in his Junior and Senior seasons. Coach Sosa is currently a player for the Missouri Comets indoor soccer team in Kansas City, Mo. where he has played since 2011. Sosa helped guide the Comets to the 2013 MISL Championship. He is also currently on the United States Futsal National Team and was a member of the 2013 team that won the Four Nations Cup in England. He has served as a volunteer assistant coach for UMKC since 2011 while also serving as the Director of Coaching for the Summit Soccer Club in Lee's Summit, Mo., from 2011-2017 and spent the last year coaching . In 2016 he joined the Benedictine College coaching staff as an Assistant Coach and moved up to become the Head Coach in 2018 to present. He holds a US Soccer Federation C License. John resides in Kansas City along with his wife who is expecting their first baby in August.

Jorge grew up playing soccer in Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas City. He has obtained the USSF E License. He coached Paola, KS Soccer Club and built a premier team in 1993-1994 that successfully played and competed throughout KS and MO. Today, he continues to coach youth soccer in the Kansas City Metroplex. He has coached from grassroots to pre-competitive, competitive and at multiple age group levels for both boys and girls soccer. He loves to teach soccer skills, the understanding of the team game and create a positive fun environment, while improving their individual soccer game.

Joshua has 8 years of coaching experience at various clubs and high schools in the KC metro area. Joshua began playing soccer at 5 years old with the Shawnee soccer club. In High school, he lettered four years in varsity soccer at Maranatha Academy. While pursuing a degree in education at KU, he began coaching for Sporting Kaw Valley and was an assistant coach at Lawrence High School. Currently, he teaches at Shawnee Mission East. He holds a grassroots youth license and a USSF D License.

Kaysie grew up in Kansas City playing soccer for a local club team. She played high school soccer at Liberty High School and won 2 state championships. She then continued playing at the University of Missouri and was named All-SEC First Team her junior and senior year. She also was named on the NSCAA All-South region First Team. Kaysie was drafted to FC Kansas City in 2015 and played for 2 years. Kaysie began coaching in 2016, and does a great job creating players that excel and love the game.

Keith played collegiate soccer at Baker University, where he earned several titles such as All-Conference, All-Region, and All-American Honorable Mention. He then went on to play at the professional level. Later, Keith founded Blue Moose Soccer Club in Prairie Village, KS, and came to be a part of FC Kansas City soccer club in 2015. He believes strongly in developing sound, technical players that have a firm understanding of the game.

Louis grew up in South London and was a part of the Fulham FC Academy System from U8 through U16 whilst also representing his district and county. He played semi-professionally from age 16-18 before moving to the U.S to play collegiate soccer.
Lou has 10 years of experience coaching youth soccer dating back to 2010 in England as an assistant to a youth team, then on to Challenger Sports in the U.S. and club youth soccer with SDB Academy.

Lucas played soccer at Shawnee Mission Northwest High School, Johnson County Community College, and MidAmerica Nazarene University. He earned his degree in Sports Management. He later went on to play professionally for five years with Minnesota United FC and Jacksonville Armada FC, and then six years with the KC Comets. In 2011, he was awarded Rookie of the Year with the KC Comets and won the NASL championship in 2011. As a coach, he focuses on youth development and bringing a better understanding of soccer to his players.

Mallory Eubanks grew up playing youth soccer in Lexington, KY and overseas in Geneva Switzerland. She was a four year captain for the soccer program at Mississippi State University. After college, she was the 16th pick in the NWSL draft, going on to play for the Spirit in Washington D.C. Mallory also has international playing experience for the U-19, U-20, and U-23 Women's National Teams. She has coached at the club youth level for Lexington F.C. She was also the assistant coach for Transylvania University, a Division III college competing in
the HCAC. Recently, she has been the assistant coach of Blue Valley North High School. Mallory also does individual and small group technical and personal training sessions for kids aging 6-22. She is excited to continue coaching and join the KC Athletics family!

Mark grew up in a soccer family. His dad was a soccer coach and he and his older brothers all played club and school soccer in the Kansas City area. His family even owned a soccer store. His childhood was filled with watching games, soccer trips, soccer camps, and best of all making friends with his teammates.
Mark began coaching young soccer teams five years ago and loves watching the kids learn and develop as players. He is very excited to start his first year coaching in KC Athletics. When he's not coaching, he enjoys house projects, being outdoors, and spending time with his wife, two kids, and dog.

Matthew played club soccer since the age of 9, as well as two years at Kansas University for their club team. He is currently the director of our Futures and Pre-Competitive Programs. He coached for 7 years before starting with FCKC/KC Athletics in 2015. He was the Head Boys Soccer Coach at SMS High School for several years and is currently a US Soccer Grassroots License Instructor.

Donaldson, originally from Florissant, MO, played collegiate soccer at the University of Missouri where she was named All-SEC first team player. Soccer has always been a passion of hers. Donaldson has been helping with the Futures and young player programs within the club for the past season and is now a full-time coach for KC Athletics.

Originally from Bristol, England, Michael played soccer at the City of Bristol College. He came to the US through Challenger Sports and has coached all over the region. In 2003, he came to KC to continue coaching for multiple clubs in the area. He joined GSI Sports as a camp and tournament director in 2016, and began coaching with KC Athletics in 2018.

Nichelle (Nikki) has played soccer in Kansas City her entire life. She played at Grandview High School and later at the collegiate level for Baker University. There, she earned numerous honors including being inducted into the Baker Athletics Hall of Fame. She has coached soccer for the past 10 years at the high school, premier, and recreational levels.

Richie grew up in Wolverhampton England playing at many levels of the football pyramid. He played three years semi-professional before moving to the U.S to play collegiate soccer. Throughout his time playing, Richie also coached at various age groups ranging from 5-18 year olds. Hr started his U.S coaching with Challenger Sports and SDB Academy.

Stefan grew up playing soccer and signed his first professional contract with the Swedish club for Mamo FF when he was only 19. He currently plays for the Kansas City Comets professional indoor team. Stefan has coached youth soccer in Kansas City for over 10 years.

Stu hails from Birmingham, England, where he gained a wealth of playing and coaching experience. He has coached for 13 years and moved to the US in 2012.
Stu has played soccer his whole life, playing for several competitive clubs in his hometown from U6-U18. During that time he spent two years in the West Bromwich Albion FC Youth Academy. He also achieved a Walsall Junior Youth Inter-League selection, traveling to different regions of England to play high-level competition. He continued to play competitive men’s soccer until he moved to the U.S. full time.
Stu coached at Blue Valley High School for two years as the Head coach of the boys C-team and assistant Varsity and JV coach. He was also previously an Academy Trainer for Challenger Sports and also coached multiple youth teams in England.

Tanner started playing soccer at age 4 and for 16 years played at the highest level in youth club soccer. At 18, he became the youngest professional player in the MISL while playing for the Kansas City Comets. He also played collegiate soccer at Mid America Nazarene University, where he led his team in scoring through the NAIA National Championship in 2015. He was named on the All-National Tournament team in 2015, scoring a total of 28 goals in 47 games. Tanner has been part of the coaching staff for FCKC and KC Athletics since 2011.

Troy played division III soccer and earned All-conference as a freshman before transitioning to football at Maranatha Baptist University. He has coached multiple FCKC/KCAC teams in the past six years.

Vasil has played soccer at all different levels, ultimately competing at a professional level in Macedonia. After moving to the US, Vasil was part of the Metropolitan Community College-Blue River team playing from 2010-2012. Since beginning his coaching career with Futura FC, he has led his teams to multiple Missouri State Cup titles and Missouri State Cup finalists.

Zach is currently the head coach at Oak Grove High School after being Assistant Coach from 2014-2017 at Grain Valley High School. He grew up playing club soccer for KCFC, and was a 4 year varsity athlete at Lee's Summit High School. He played collegiately for four years at Avila University.
