ECNL National and Regional League Selection Games are an extension of the league's player identification platform, providing additional competition and development opportunities for top players throughout the league. Selection Games combine recommended players to form two teams who compete in an "all-star" game.

The ECNL is thrilled to announce the launch of the ECNL Spotlight Games in the 2025-26 season, with top U14 players selected to participate in these matches at 11 different ECNL national events across the country. The U14 ECNL Spotlight Games are part of a collaboration between ECNL and the US Club Soccer id2 Program to provide scouting-based identification opportunities for top ECNL and ECNL Regional League male and female players for youth national teams and beyond.

The ECNL Conference Cup is an exciting opportunity for top players within the ECNL Selection Program. 120 of the top rising U16-U18 girls players from across the country will be placed into eight different teams for a mini-game competition played over the course of three days. Each team will combine players from different ECNL Girls Conferences, geographically linked to represent different areas of the country. The top teams meet in the championship game to determine the Conference Cup Champion.

Players are selected for the Conference Cup by ECNL player identification staff through a combination of scouting and recommendations based on performances.
